Built locally in Tallahassee.
Hulsey Creative Co. has a Tallahassee presence because the Big Bend is its own market: a state capital wrapped around two major universities and surrounded by canopy-road neighborhoods that most national agencies will never bother to understand. We build websites for the businesses serving the people who actually live, eat, and work between Lake Ella and Wakulla Springs.

The Florida State Capitol
The new Capitol's 22-story tower flanked by the historic 1845 dome is the literal center of the city. Every law firm, lobbying shop, and government-adjacent business in town orbits the Capitol complex, and we build sites that take that gravity seriously.
Florida State University & FAMU
Two major universities — over 75,000 combined students — drive a year-round demand for restaurants, services, housing, and retail. A Tallahassee website that ignores the academic calendar is leaving money on the table from August through May.
Cascades Park & Smokey Hollow
The downtown park built on the old Centennial Field and the rebuilt Smokey Hollow Commemoration anchor a walkable urban core that's still growing. Local restaurants and event vendors live or die on whether they show up in a mobile search from the amphitheater lawn.
Wakulla Springs & the canopy roads
South of town: the world's largest freshwater spring and the Wakulla River. North and east: Miccosukee, Centerville, Old Saint Augustine — canopy roads with oaks 200 years old. Tourism and outdoor businesses out here need fast image-heavy sites that still pass Core Web Vitals.

Seven home Saturdays a year reshape every restaurant reservation, hotel rate, and parking lot within three miles. Game-week landing pages and event schemas are part of how we build for College Town and Gaines Street clients.
Railroad Square Art District
Tallahassee's independent gallery and maker district off Gaines Street. The small-batch businesses there — coffee, vinyl, candles, vintage — are exactly the kind of operations Squarespace fails and a hand-built site fixes.

Why this town matters to our work.
Tallahassee runs on three calendars at once: the legislative session, the FSU/FAMU academic year, and football season. A site that doesn't acknowledge those rhythms reads as out-of-town the second a local lands on it. We bake that awareness into copy, schema, and even refresh cadence.
The Big Bend is also a coastal market the rest of the state forgets about. From St. Marks down to Apalachicola, the small businesses we work with serve a population that's part state employee, part student, part oysterman, part retiree. One template doesn't cover that range — and we don't pretend otherwise.
Canopy-road neighborhoods like Betton Hills, Midtown, and Lafayette Park have their own character and their own customer base. Killearn and Bradfordville are different markets entirely. Our local pages and Google Business Profile tuning treat them that way.
If you operate anywhere from Crawfordville up to Thomasville or out toward Monticello, this office covers you. The Tallahassee DMA is bigger than people think, and we build for the whole thing.
